Spotting a Taurus Rising

With the death, resurrection, and ultimate bastardized zombification (I coined a word there, methinks) of TikTok, I will be making long-form versions of those videos on “the YouTube”, as my high school history teacher would say.

I fought the necessity as long as possible, but I fear I have become a… gulp… a content creator. So why don’t you go like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell (just before you shoot me for having to say that!)

This is one of the many ways I will use pop culture to help teach you guys about astrology. The faces, bodies, and lives of celebrities can give us good clues about their rising sign.

Thus, when people we know share those attributes and circumstances, we may be able to rectify someones entire chart. All of this done just by observing similarities and coincidences.

Celebrities (from L-R):

  • Austin Butler: Leo Sun, Sagittarius Moon, Aquarius Midheaven

  • Issa Rae: Capricorn Sun, Libra Moon, and Capricorn* Midheaven

  • Robert Pattinson: Taurus Sun, Cancer Moon, Capricorn Midheaven

  • Megan thee Stallion: Aquarius Sun, Leo Moon, Capricorn Midheaven

  • Mariah Carey: Aries Sun, Cancer Moon, Capricorn Midheaven

  • Young Thug: Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Capricorn Midheaven

  • Saweetie: Cancer Sun, Sagittarius Moon, Capricorn Midheaven

  • Taylor Lautner: Aquarius Sun, Taurus Moon, Aquarius Midheaven

*A whole sign chart for a Taurus rising would have their Midheaven in Aquarius, like Taylor and Austin do, but I read charts using the Placidus system. This means that all of the Angles (Ascendant/Rising, Imum Coeli (IC)/4th House Cusp, Descendant/7th House Cusp, and Midheaven/Medium Coeli (MC)) aren’t always 90º apart, like Taurus and Aquarius are.

That said, having your Ascendant and MC in the same element (in this case, Earth) would be greatly beneficial to all of the Taurus Asc/Cap. MC people, giving them a life focused on luxury and comfort, as well as a career focused on legacy and upward mobility.
